The best way to make use of Ideas & Interpretations is to read about them, consider them, and respond.
I am the son of a roughneck and a waitress. I was born, and primarily raised, in a rural Kansas town but have, throughout my life, rogued wheat fields, driven Caterpilar® tractors, repaired First Nation rugs, baked and fried donuts, and had a long career in the computer science area (starting my career in a time where being a “generalist” was NOT a bad thing.
Originally, my blog (which is at the root of this newsletter) “Technoglot” was oriented towards the general understanding of new technology for those whose primary focus was other than tech. It shifted into general understanding and promoting discussion (or just general thought) about many ideas — and the interpretations thereof. As this newsletter establishes itself, it is my hope it will generate many comments and ideas for future newsletters and discussions.
My plan is to make it at least weekly — probably published over the weekend. But life does come along. I was pretty prompt for about 40 weeks until travel and illness derailed me. I plan to get back on a regular track.
Subscriptions are the only way to make sure you don’t miss a single newsletters, as newsletters will go directly to your inbox. Currently, paid members have no special benefits, except for being able to comment on the newsletters, but that may change in the future.
